Significant Health Care Event Essays Significant Health Care Event Paper Significant Health Care Event Paper Dimetria was born May 17, 1962 in Newark, New Jersey, at the age of 5. I started at 14th Ave School. My father was not in the picture of my growing up and having 3 brothers and 3 sisters living conditions was hard for my mother Ruby Major we had to at times to sleep in one bed when staying at families houses. I always wanted to be a nurse and as I got older I became closer to my grandmother in the kitchen with southern cooking, so I started to cooking for my family in different gathering, at 13 I saw a boy that I thought was handsome and pursue him and that gentlemen became my husband. William Wiggins and, we, have 3 children together, Natasha age 32, William age 28, Keyonna age 25. I started working with varies hotels in house-keeping and found my love for cleaning and making people happy with my work, in the year 1993 I started working in U. M. D. N. J. Hospital of New Jersey, I resigned from the hospital because of a personal problems and been going around finding happiness in different jobs. In the year 1996 I became a grandmother for the first time and thought that I was never find happiness like seeing one of my grandchild being born, but the lord Jesus Christ my lord and savior was the rock in my life, because he showed me that life can be better than just working , so I decided that I needed something, I hoped that the lord will let me see more happiness and Jesus responded with my happy life, so my goal in my life is to better myself by going back to school; the idea of me back in school sitting in classes day after day sounded boring as nothing I ever thought so I, looked online for different online schools to choose from and the University of phoenix came as the most interesting of all the schools. I have a goal for myself, that is to achieve a lever of education, so that I can be a better person in my wayward life and be able to help people once again in jobs or a job that is in the hospitality services, of courses I will endure obstacles in this part of the life by continuing education but I, have something that a choice few dont have in life and hearts that’s Jesus himself, he is my strength and his promise makes my day go by with hope and happiness in my soul that will make a different for me, in general as a student in this college. Since I have been in University of Phoenix I have become more adapted on the idea of getting my Bachelor’s Degree, because of the instructor’s way of teaching an online course has amazed me so much. I still have a long way to go but I have a positive outlook on the future of my immediate goals. I’m hoping to have a career in (RHIT) Registered Health Information Technician, so I willing to go the distance in achieving that goal for myself and my family. I look to Jesus for my source and help in everything I do in life. I’m almost done with the Bachelor’s Program and looking forward in working in healthcare again which is my passion. I pray that the 4 years I’m been in University of Phoenix help me reach my goal as a (RHIT) in health administration in my Master’s program. The change in health care is significant because of how innovation helps doctors in operating room. Values and beliefs are key in accepting the new technology for you and your family culture. The future of health care technology has changed the very fiber of health care delivery. New technologies have evolved with multiple innovation strategies to help it along to improve delivery of services and quality care. The significance of technology plays a key role in how healthcare provider’s uses equipment and procedures to help delivered a better medical care. Health care technology has growth and spread throughout the United States. Medical technology has grown to surpass the annual spending in the billions of dollars. â€Å"The particularly rapid increase in health premiums has focused on the community and cost containment of health insurance affordability better utilization of the health care resources† (Anderson Frogner, 2006 â€Å"p† 819). Health care technology advancement has changed the average life span for Americans and baby boomers are living pass the expected age of 78 to 87 years, effect of new innovation is erasing years of unhealthy living. A change in technology has promised a future of survival against certain cancers, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. The improvement in technology has opened the door to new ways of giving care and less hospitals stays for patients. The change in health care technology is having an influence on the consumer demand for healthy living. Health insurance organizations are helping by providing payment for medical advancement in new innovation through public awareness. â€Å"The continued flow of new innovations resulted from factors including finding ways to treat patients and keep a certain investment in innovation and technology together for basic research and science† (AdvaMed, 2004 Para 4). The use of robotic surgery is an important part of future healthcare sector. Robots technologies have assisted surgeries and now are trending to gain a lot focus in the future. â€Å"Though highly expensive, the usage of a robot for a surgery results in a shorter recovery time, since the surgery procedure is less invasive† (Anderson Frogner, 2006 â€Å"p† 823). The use of robotics procedure will help in the performance of surgery with fewer invasions and barely a scar, also recovery time is short. After reviewing different technologies in health care, changing the structure of care given has paved the way for longer living and helping erase medical errors. â€Å"The growth of medical science and technology has played a key role in shaping the United States healthcare delivery system† (Shi Singh, 2012 â€Å"p† 43). New technology ranges from robotics to Tele-health communications, growth in education will bring the technology into the forefront of care. American medical technologies have changed the patterns on how doctors deliver care to patients. The different diagnostic and therapeutic technology has made help indispensable for patients and quality of life, also resources has brought billions of dollars into the health economy. â€Å"Increasing pressure on health care technology has been driving an explicit and public decision regarding the best use of these resources† (Tan Ong, â€Å"p† 1). The impact of advanced technology will bring a level of innovation, product and processes that have an element of risk. Viewpoints in the industry have identified hazards that need control measures for a successful preventative treatment in technology tools. The health care industries have become the forefront of advanced technology and medicines in the world, alongside Japan. Changing how a patient can access care through Tele-health has kept patients in the care-giving platform of integrated technology and care. Medical technology has shifted the social and economic health care system forever, structured methods of care helps in the core beliefs, values and mission of health care organizations. On demand access of care help providers experience important choices and support in the health care spectrum. Advanced technology has put demands on providing more productivity on the significance of cost effectiveness and renewal of the value of patient care. The beliefs and values that are ingrained in American and culture have an influential on how laying a foundation for health care delivery system will remain private tax-financed health care program. My values come for the care that I will receive based on the organization and the different technologies incorporated in my care. â€Å"Specific life domains, such as comfort factors, respect, privacy, security, and degree of independence, decision-making autonomy, and attention to personal preferences are significant to most people† (Shi Singh, 2012 â€Å"p† 43) during medical treatment. Maintaining a balance in beliefs and values requires professionals ethical, moral attitudes and individual beliefs have shown the affect of medical technology that will affect the living of United States. I feel that medical technology will enhance my attitude about how we can become healthier with different innovation helping in hospital treat chronic diseases. Conclusion: Health care technology has reached epic proportion in America, Innovation is important in medical technology; it is the essence health care organizations. The drive of technology is the innovation for a better quality care in a faster pace. Medical technology help improves individual lives and help in the benefits of treatment to individuals whose conditions may have been difficult or impossible to treat.
